An awesome US hop primarily used for bittering. Columbus hops is one of the “Three C’s” with Centennial and Cascade.

Columbus is a descendant of Nugget. It is a high alpha (14.5 – 17.5%) variety and is primarily used for bittering purposes.

Aromas include black pepper, licorice, curry and subtle citrus. It brings a bitterness kick as well as a dreamy aroma.

Commonly used in Pale Ales, Indian Pale Ales and Stouts.
