Citra Hops 100g

Citra is a new special US aroma hop variety released by the Hop Breeding Company of Yakima. It has unique and highly flavoursome characteristics.

As the name suggests its flavour descriptors include tropical fruit, grapefruit, melon, gooseberry, passion fruit and lychee.

It is a cross between European Hallertau Mittelfrueh and US Tettnang.

An alpha acid level of 12-13.5% makes it great for bittering beers, as well as providing a good aroma.

Great for Pale Ales and IPA’s but with Noble Hop heritage it also suits Pilsner and Lagers.
